
Meet Gil and Nationwide Loans
Gil started in 1985 as an investor in his home state of Massachusetts. Over time he realized the discrepancy between what he paid for properties and what his loan amount was. Gil's very good friend, was taking terrible advantage of him. "I decided then, I will never ever treat people that way".
Gil facilitated his very first mortgage also in 1985. It was a 1st time home buyers dream home in Woburn, Ma. "I think I was as excited if not more than Monta and her family".
Almost immediately Gil added investment property mortgage loans to the product offerings and eventually exited out of the primary residence business. Focusing 100% of Gil and his teams focus on the investor side. Now being able to facilitate most all investment mortgage transactions available throughout the US and through only "fully vetted lenders". Eliminating the risk of "lender trickery" which is throughout the mortgage industry especially on the investor side.
Today, 90% of Nationwide's new partners be them investors, lenders, brokers or LO's come from word of mouth.
Initially almost all of our partners on the mortgage side will ask, "why would I bring my deal to Nationwide's Super Broker side"? We have learned through the years, there's 3 main reasons.
1. We facilitate and close investment loans that our mortgage side partners can't internally. We provide our mortgage side partners with their compensation in their own personal name or through their entity.
2. Many of our mortgage side partners are some of the best in the industry at gaining applications. But then the tedious tasks, of structuring, bundling for bid, submitting for bid, the minute by minute day after day diligence that must be provided on every loan watching for "lender trickery" is draining. Friends the list goes on and on and on. So while the team at Nationwide Loans is handling each and every step, many of our mortgage side partners are gaining more applications!
3. A large portion of our mortgage side partners are working in the mortgage side or another full time job and just don't have the time. There is so much comfort for our partners in having 6+ day a week access to Gil personally whenever needed or just to check in and say "hi how's things going".
So here we are, 40 years later thanks to keeping true to Gil's original mission of, "never, ever treating people that way". Nationwide Loans operates 6+ days a week. With clients from all over the US, Canada and Germany.
